Profile / Career notes

true point guard and floor leader... had a big and positive impact when he signed in the middle of the 06/07 season with TBB Trier in the German BBL scoring 14,9 ppg. and dishing 2,8 apg... resigned by Trier and unfortunately injured himself during pre-season missing most of the 07/08 season due to a foot injury... former Michigan State All-Big Ten honoree was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 23rd pick of the second round (52nd overall) in the 2002 NBA Draft in New York City... he combines excellent ball-handling skills with a deadly jump shot ... Taylor earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors in 2002, becoming just the second player in Big Ten history to lead the conference in scoring (16.8 ppg) and assists (5.3 apg)... he started 29 games for the Spartans and averaged a team-high 34.4 minutes per game leading Michigan State to a 19-12 record... had 18 points and six assists in the Spartans' NCAA Tournament first-round loss to North Carolina State...
